Research on the Evolution of Population Distribution and Influencing Factors in Xi’an During the COVID-19 Epidemic Control Period: Based on a Perspective of Multi-source Spatio-Temporal Big Data

Abstract Under the “ultra-conventional” control measures of COVID-19 period, urban population distribution is different from usual time. Studying its evolution laws has a certain reference effect for judgment aggregations, division precise zoning, and differentiated management places during period. Based on data Baidu heat maps points interest (POIs), this paper uses three models density index (PDI), exploratory spatial analysis (ESDA) geological detector (Geodetector) to analyze characteristics influencing factors Xi’an in stages which are closed stage, unsealed stage slack stage. The results show that: stages, 1) value PDI range change continue increase. single-day curve shows “low-high-low” changing morning night within third ring zone, “high-low-high” suburb. And, by comparison, it found that social vitality first second zone more strongly impacted because measures. 2) overall gradually increasing, represented gradual increase very high- high-density areas, continuous decrease low- low-density areas. And centripetal density, high inside city low outside city, becoming obvious. 3) represents obvious high-value clusters or low-value ESDA circle structure inner outer cold, trend continues be reinforced. 4) intensity order 7 types facilities is: residential communities > catering living service healthy commercial office green spaces squares, factor intensities increasing decreasing process stages.
